Pinyon Jay fans, take the next step and join us in the field this season to monitor Pinyon Jays on your smart phone! This effort has grown to six states and collecting timely data is key to constructing an accurate picture of the birds' whereabouts across their extensive range. Please help!
We are offering a free workshops this spring to bring you up to speed on natural history, set you up electronically, and guide you in selecting survey spots. No experience is necessary, only the ability to identify our iconic Pinyon Jays by sight and sound. Note that workshop attendance is not required, but suggested.
If you are ready to get out surveying, please set up an account with username ending in _ASW and get started! (be aware that the _ASW ending flags you to get Audubon Southwest's data forms. If you don't add the extension, you won't be able to move forward with submitting data.)
We hope to see you soon!
