This autumn at the Randall Davey Audubon Center, we are offering drop-in family events themed around harvest, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. We provide science investigations, activities, and crafts. The events have been well received, drawing in New Mexicans from all over the state! Our next event will be held November 19, 1:00-4:00. We will discuss how to protect our ecosystem, create a turkey-themed craft, and of course, have great fun in the Nature Discovery Area.

October’s “Creative Creatures” drew nearly 50 families. Kids dressed in costumes and completed a fantastic Halloween mural. We look forward to our November Family Day being just as successful. We will offer monthly events again in the spring.
